Winston Furniture Admin Offices Damaged by Storm

The Haleyville, Alabama, administrative offices of Winston Furniture were severely damaged by an apparent tornado that struck the area yesterday afternoon. Fortunately, no employees were in the offices at the time the storm struck. These offices, which housed support functions, are currently being relocated across the street to another office building that was undamaged by the storm. The Haleyville area is currently without power and communication services. The offices should be operational by the time power is restored in the area.

Telephone communication as well as fax activities have been diverted to the Birmingham, Alabama, offices so that orders and dealer inquiries can continue. Since the furniture production is no longer based in Haleyville only these administrative support activities were affected and it will only be a short term interruption in these functions of the company.

    Hello
At this time where is your production. I ordered alot of furniture a few weeks ago and I am wondering the status of your manufacturiing.
Thank you and I am very glad everyone is ok.

      Lisa,

Thank you for your inquiry. There is no interruption in production as the administrative offices which received the storm damage and the factory are totally separate entities. Your furniture should arrive as acknowledged.

I just wanted to say in 1994 I bought a Winston table, chair and umbrella set from a local pool and patio store. This year, 2011, I finally had to buy replacement cushions and a new umbrella for my Winston set.
Your product is superb! This set has been on my patio and endured many many seasons of weather and still looks fabulous and aside from a few minor spots of wear is still going strong.
Anyone thinking of purchasing a Winston set, I hope, will read this and feel very secure in picking this brand for their outdoor enjoyment.

I need some small plastic clips that hold the glass top into a small end table. The set is all white and 20 years old. But we love it and it still looks good

Both the store locator and parts locator did not function when I tried to use them.

I’m located in Las Vegas. Can you please help

    Thank you

I am interested in getting a replacement glass top for our Winston 84.5″ x 42″ (outside dimensions) oval outdoor table. I called your local dealer and they said they need a model number. The original instruction manual lists models 1754, 1772, 1824, 2138, 2160, 2175, 2206, 2207, 2344, 2354, 2648, 3080, 3106, 3107, 3180 along with “other models” but there are no corresponding pictures. Can you help us? It’s top quality furniture and we’d like to keep using it!
    Thank you.
PS sorry to hear about your storm damage.

Sorry to hear about your storm damage. I ordered 2 replacement chair slings from American Backyard in Alpharetta GA and the slings that arrived are 18 inches wide, and my chairs are 20 inches wide so they don’t fit at all. I returned the slings to the store on May 1st and the person there, Anthony, tells me he has tried to contact you several times since then but you have not responded. I have no chair slings, 2 unusable chairs, and am out $161.56. Can you help?

    • Winston Furniture (Reply) on Thursday 28, 2011

Hi Linda, Thank you for your kind words.
We are sorry you are having issues with the slings and one of our sales reps will contact you soon.

We purchased a Winston bar table and chairs several years ago, and absolutely love it. We are now looking for the umbrella to match and are having trouble finding it. The table measures 42×42 and is approx. 38 inches high. The fabric is a beautiful silver mesh, possibly madera nickel or trellis stone. Do you make an umbrella for this table, it has the opening in the center for one. I am located in Medford Oregon but purchased the set in Sarasota Florida and that business is no longer there. I would also consider an umbrella in the silver mesh color that I have seen in pictures. I would appreciate a response via e-mail or phone 541-858-1984.

We have a a 9 piece patio set that needs replacement slings, it is 10 years old, but has been used on a covered patio and is in excellent condition otherwise We no longer remember the name of the collection. My past research indicated it might have been called Providence (?). My local Winston dealer cannot find our furniture listed anywhere in the Winston Catalog. We cannot afford to replace all the furniture, and have been unable to get any help with replacement parts. How can I get to talk to someone at Winston directly? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Help!

I have a couch glider # 696. I’d like to order cushions. I used your parts/replacement cushion finder and it listed Fireplace and Patio in Pittsburgh, PA. I called and they said they couldn’t order cushions and suggested a third party supplier. Where can I buy original cushions?
    thanks.

I have 2 rocker sling chairs from the ’94 Winston Elbertex collection. Both chairs are no longer capable of being enjoyed due to the faulty rocker mechanism. My local dealer Harrows in Scarsdale, N.Y. Has told me they are unable to find replacement parts. This is still a great set which has lasted this long, a tribute to your fine company. Could someone help me, thanx, Tim

Just finished cleaning my winston patio furniture for the forty-ninth time. purchased in 1986 and it looks almost as good now as when we purchased. only problem is the vinyl straps that hold cushions are starting to look a little dingy and cushions are a little faded but i guess after 25 years we all look a little faded. hope all is well as you regroup after the tornado.

    sincerely
    a well satisfied customer

I live in Switzerland and my wonderful Winston glass top table was shattered by a violent storm. Where can I buy your product in/near Switzerland? The Winston website didn’t help me find any dealers nearby yet the site boasts of international dealers. Thanks for help!

I have 4 swivel chairs for outdoor set – the small plastic tips used to buffer the base from the ground have broken into miniscule pieces recently as they have worn out – can I obtain directly (as no dealer seems to carry the parts) enough to replace for 4 chairs (8×4=32) and can I install by drilling out remains of what is left in frame and inserting new ?

I purchased our patio table, 4 sling chairs, 2 glider chairs with ottomans and a occasional table I believe in 1993. They are the Key West model in Verde Green. The finish is fadding and the slings are starting to show wear. I would like to get them refinished in a bronze or dark finish and get new slings. Do you know of someone in the Austin, Texas area that does this? We are looking for new patio furniture and the cost to replace what I have with something else is to high. Plus, what I have is still in great shape.

    Thanks for your help.

We purchased a Winston set in 1985. Need to replace the slings but when I go to the replacement parts section and find the store section, nothing comes up. Can you help me find the store that I need to go to replace them?

I purchased a Winston outdoor round table and 4 chairs over 30 years ago…I cannot remember the exact year. The plastic inserts on the end of the chair legs have all deteriorated. I cannot find any local vendor that carries parts that far back. I see that you have instructed other inquiries to send a picture of their set for you to identify. Can I do that and will I be able to purchase the parts from someone?

    Thank you, Angela Lina, ljlina@cox.net
